I made a skirt!!!
I picked the fabric and the pattern just after Christmas, but I've been hesitating. So Ian said, "You have nothing else to do- make something on your sewing machine!! So after washing the fabric, I cut out the pattern, I pinned it to the fabric, I cut the fabric, (probably the most nerve wracking part- because if you mess that up, you've got no choice but to buy more fabric!) and then I sat down to sew it all together. I even put in the invisible zipper all by myself!!! So now I have my first creation. I have patterns for more, so I can't wait to make them!!! I'm so grateful for my toy!! Life is boring without a sewing machine! Hoorah for sewing!!
Oh, and PS- if I forgot to mention I got a hair cut, sorry! :)

Oh my goodness you are such a cute sister!!! I love the color choice combo. Very nice.
Oh and way to be so creative. It makes you feel like you are so independent and one of a kind huh!
