Sunshine!

The sun has been warm and wonderful over the last week or so. Ian and I decided to take a walk this afternoon. We hadn't gone far when we found something random on the sidewalk.

I called this....
a transistor.

Then Ian called this....
fat.

I'm pretty sure both of us were wrong.

Apparently this....
is a transistor.

And of course, its not fat. Although, some days, I do feel fat, haha.

April in the Brick House has been beautiful month (except the random snow and rain)- and full of visitors! I really like when people stay in our spare room- it makes me feel all grown up! ...Although, I have to admit, I felt like a lame host most of the time, but I have a few years to brush up on those skills. I'm not too worried.

Winter semester was sucessful, and Ian has already started Spring classes. He'll be busy, but its good for him :) I'm starting to get used to the feelings of fatigue and ravishing, unquenchable hunger, but at least I've grown out of my afternoon naps. Vashti bird, our little parakeet, is growing her wings back nicely, and can now control her descent....that is not to say she has learned to land without smacking into her cage, or anything else in her way. Unfortunately, that one might take some time. At least she will come out of her cage on her own now. Thats fun.

Sorry for the lack of update- I've had lots of ideas, but none of them ever came to fruition. Having the idea, and writing the blog, are two completely different things. Gladly, the transistor was just what I needed :)

I've been waiting for you to post about this! What is that thing you found anyway - you never said. Thanks again for letting us be one of the many visitors to your house over the last month - a few times!
