Rex Lee Run

This morning, Ian woke me up at 8:30 in the stupid morning to go cheer on his coworkers who ran in the Rex Lee Run (cancer research!). I didn't mind the whole cheering on thing, it was the fact that I had to get up early on a Saturday! Anywho, it was freezing, we rode our bikes, and I didn't have gloves :( Ian let me use his though, so then it was better :) We rode up up up up the big hill, met up with a coworker who wasn't running (officially), and eventually had hundreds of people headed in our direction. Unfortunately, we couldn't see any faces that we knew.

So we headed to the other side of campus. Ian and I on our bikes, Jake on foot. He ran. haha. We reached the other side just in time to see a couple familiar faces! After a brief "wooohooo!" we headed to the finish line. Upon arriving, we saw another of his coworkers and congratulated him. It was lots of fun, great energy, and I even scored a tasty banana from one of Ian's old mission buddies.

And although I didn't RUN a 5K today, I did manage to RIDE 5 miles. Hoorah for my periwinkle raleigh! (thats what I call my bike, cause its periwinkle. I don't care what you say Ian, its periwinkle!)
